After watching "Minority Report" again the other day, I think I found a flaw.
The Precogs can predict a murder if it's pre-meditated and/or spontaneous. If it's premeditated, the Pre-Crime Division has several hours to stop it. If it's not, then there's little time (maybe an hour or two(?)). Tom Cruise's character, John Anderton, is predicted to commit a murder of a man he doesn't know - nor does he know why - in about 36 hours.
So my problem is, how could his case be classified as 'pre-meditated' if he has no intention of killing the man until just a bit after he meets him?
Am I missing something here?
