Long time lurker - First time poster.

Just downloaded/saw Batman Dead End and just a question:

I read on AICN's tallback section that Batman has a "history" with characters in the second part of the movie. Can anyone elaborate on this? was it in the comics? (I'm newer to the comic realm so i don't have all-encompassing knowledge). or was this guy just talking out of his ass?
