Seriously, that sucks. As a computer professional, oh how many times have I given this advice to people who just lost some valuable file.

MAC huh? Good luck. Contrary to what a MAC person will tell you, they do need to be repaired just as often as any PC.
I could never wrap my brain around their software, it's like Russian technology or something.
I will give a nod to the graphics performance that come out of the box.
But you can do anything on a PC , with the right hardware, you can do on a MAC.
But getting it fixed is liked getting your Spyder tuned up, ain't that many people who can do it right. Except me, of course.
: Right now, my they are performing an exorcism on my PC next door in the computer warehouse. They've moved my junk from my C drive to my extra drive, but my "my documents" folder has mysteriously disappeared. The most important thing in that folder is the DAMN SCREENPLAY I JUST FINISHED WRITING!!!
: I'll probably have to reinstall many programs, including photoshop, so still no WMC strips for awhile. I'm hoping they'll be done with it soon so I'll know for sure.
: Anyway, I was going to buy a G5 anyways, but now I've got a much bigger push to do so soon.
