i HATE jane austen..... maybe it's because i really don't dig 19th century lit. what is it that you like about it. not asking for a justification, just wondering. i know a chick who took a whole semester of austen and it would have driven me crazy.
: I'll be celebrating my 30th birthday later this year, although I'm not really expecting things to be much different than they are now, except I'll be moving into the next age category on any surveys I fill out. I work for Barnes & Noble. I'm a writer (short stories & a little poetry), although very few people have ever read anything I've written, because I'm very overprotective of my work. I'm an avid reader--if nothing else is handy, I'll read the cereal box. My favorite authors are Jonathan Franzen, Stephen King, and Jane Austen. I'm also a music freak--at this very moment, I'm listening to the soundtrack to "Down With Love." My favorite all-time artist is Paul Westerberg. I saw both my first foreign film and first silent film last year in the theater.
