: : Favorite non superhero comic:
: 100 Bullets
Azzarello is great. I can't wait for him to take over Batman.
: : Favorite story arc:
: First arc in Ultimates
I was thinking this too. So far the whole series has been incredible, Ultimate Captain America is bad ass, seeing him kick Banner in the face made me laugh.
: : Favorite mini series:
: I'd rather say that my favorite One Shot was Hulk: The End
Heard a lot about this but never picked it up. Kinda wishing I had.
: : Favorite ongoing series:
: Ultimates
Agreed.
: : Favorite character:
: Spider-Man
Just started buying Amazing Spider-Man. So far I dig it, but for me Bendis' Ultimate takes the cake.
: : Best crossover:
: Hmm... Maximum Carnage or Ultimate War
Agreed
: : Who do you wish comics would kill off?
: Mary Jane Parker
I considered this too actually. What better way to really tear into a character who already has enough problems?
: : Favorite artist:
: Either Hitch or Bagley... maybe Romita Jr.
Agreed. All three have incredibly cinematic styles that work perfectly with their books.
: : Character you would like to see make a comeback:
: All of the characters I would have said have already done so recently.
Can you toss out an example for me please? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
: : Favorite writer:
: Either Brian Michael Bendis or Peter David
Bendis and David. Two writers who will always have a spot on my Monthly Must Buy list. I still have to track down BMBs Ultimate X-Men #34, my shop always sells out of UXM before I have a chance to get there and I always have to buy a copy from the bookstore in the mall where i work. Have you read his graphic novel Torso? It's fantastic.
Peter David, man Captain Marvel blows me away a great portion of the time. The last arc with Thor didn't grab me as much as the previous issues (but I really don't like Thor, so that's prolly the reason) but I loved the idea of Marv deciding that he was a God.
