Don't get me wrong, B... the article posted was 80% pure bullshit and 20% heavily-slanted attempts at getting an obscured truth.
9-11 was an atrocity performed by some angry brainwashed religious militants from Saudi Arabia led by an ex-CIA operative in Afghanistan.
Clearly, the American government didn't create this on purpose... but it was the culmination of a million mistakes that allowed it to happen.
The question we have to consider is: how do we stop it from happening again?
Does angry imperialist saber rattling, the invasion of non-threatening nations and the gunning down of crowds of protestors fix what made these people insane with hate?
No. In fact, it creates another generation of homeless children to be trained into monsters.
What we need to do is learn from the past and not repeat it by just cycling out the dictators that rebelled against us for another group of puppets that will rebel in 15 years...
And that's accomplished by pulling OUT of the region, not getting deeper in.
