Was the anti-Semitism of it... blaming the Jewish people in Israel for this clusterfuck is about as productive as blaming the slaves being in the South as the cause of the Civil War.
Israel is a trick AGAINST the Jewish people, not BY them... the Zionist movement was not a World Conquering Fiend... it was a self-destructively idealist notion that somehow giving the Jewish people a homeland that they had mythological claim to would somehow end anti-Semitism instead of reinforcing it.
Lets not forget, one of Hitler's early plans for the Jewish people of Europe before he realized how cheap and efficient Holocaust would be was a mass deportation to Palestine... to in a sense kill them off by "giving them what they want"... to throw them into a noose that the intellectual class of European Jews had been asking to be thrown into.
The US and Britain nixed it.
The creation of Israel was not some sinister Jewish master plan... quite the opposite, it was the perfect solution for American and British oilmongers and anti-Semites after World War 2:
Give these people you don't want in your countries what was promised in a fairy tale... and not only are you rid of them but you can use them as your foothold in that region because even though you hate them and they're alien to you, the other peoples in that region you hate even more and are even more alien to you.
Couch it in the language of being a reparation for an atrocity... and run with it.
Everything that has to do with Israel and Palestine is a clusterfuck and a tragedy, on all sides, and the fault is squarely with the Anglo-American military industrial complex, not with the transplanted European Jews or the Palestinian Muslims.
The latter two are victims in a larger game.
My solution would simply be this:
Offer every Israeli and Palestinian American citizenship and transport to America for a six month period... and job placement and temporary housing when they get here. Tell anyone left after that, that we have no responsibility left... and pull the fuck out.
And then level the entire country, both countries, completely. Starting with the fucking religious shrines on all sides. And tell them:
"Here's the fucking wasteland we tricked you guys into wanting. You can stick around in the Land of Free if you like... or you can go back to that Fairy Tale Hell and fight over rubble. The choice is yours."
