: 1. Last movie you saw with an awesome soundtrack?
Big Money Hustlas
Gods and Generals
: 2. Favorite song from a recent movie (last six months)?
Hard to say really...
: 3. Name five movies that have had an impact on your life:
: *Gettysburg (I have a big intrest in the civil war era)
: *The Blues Brothers (I used to play Elwood in a stage band)
: *Clerks (It caught me hook line and sinker into all things Askew)
: *A Better Place (I have told Vincent about my feelings on
identifying with much of the feelings of the character Ryan
because I had an unsatisfactory childhood/homelife. Besides it is just
a great movie.)
: *The Blair Witch Project (Showed me that marketing and use of the web can turn a b-movie bomb into a mega success. Also see: Blair Witch 2:
The movie that never should have been made. It destroyed the myth of the first one even worse than having the cast show up on talkshows way to soon.)
: 4. Name five songs that have had an impact on your life or move you in some way:
: *Halls of Illusions, ICP, The Great Milenko (Similar to the reason I gave about A Better Place.)
: *Soul Man, The Blues Brother, Briefcase Full of Blues (Well guess.)
: *Hot Cross Buns (First song that I learned on the saxophone.)
: *Different, Twiztid, Freekshow (Just listen and understand.)
: *Blues Traveler's early works (pre-Four era) (John Popper is a poet, not only with his words but also with his harmonica. I cry when I listen to some of these songs and they are all so good I do not want to single one out.)
: 5. Which movie (other than Matrix and Jersey Girl) are you most anticipating the release of this year? Why? The Hulk because HULK SMASH!!!
: 6. Do you own a record player? Yes. How many records do you own and which is your favorite? Many and my favorites are my collection of vintage Blues Brothers albums.
: 7. What first turned you on to Kevin's work?
Hard to say really, I think I read a review on Clerks in Entertainment Weekly and decided I had to see it. It was soooo long ago.
: 8. Favorite non-Kevin View Askew movie?
A Better Place hands down. (See above)
: 9. Last film you bought?
lol I bought Red Dragon because my DVD Club sent it to me because I forgot to make a pick this month... Oh well I love Edward Norton, he is awsome in every movie I have had the privlage to watch. (AMerican History X ranks up there it is just... wow... Great performance.
: 10. Last album you bought?
Psychopathics From Outer Space (Psychopathic Record compulation album.)
