Football is my first love. I stick with professional, because the players don't change as often and there aren't as many teams. So I feel like I can be a more informed fan. Denver is my team, mostly due to locality, and I buy season tickets every year. In 96, the year we didn't make the superbowl and were devastatingly knocked out of the playoffs by Jacksonville, I cried. Then the year we beat Green Bay, in what I still consider the most exciting superbowl for decades, I cried. I just think football is great because of the strategy and mathematics and skill involved. For there to be a successful passing play, so many things have to come together and it is an exciting thing to watch. Again, arousing.
Volleyball is a close second, both beach and standard, but it is hardly ever televised so I don't follow it closely.
Hockey is great, especially live. Again, the Aves are the team I cheer for.
Basketball is good at college level. And finally, soccer and golf are similar to watching paint dry for me. I respect both sports, but I can't watch nor participate.
After all that, I wouldn't say I'm the ideal woman. I'm also very excited to see the Dawson finale tomorrow. So I still have my faults.
