I've got a query for ya.

In Chasing Amy, you did an amazing joy of portraying the biases that people have towards stereotypical 'gay' individuals. Now, as a gay guy growing up without a limp wrist or enjoyment of Cher music, I have to say it was a breath of fresh air. It was a movie that I could show people and say: "Look, not everything is at it seems", especially with the Bankie twist.

Now, while you make jokes about the 'fat' thing, Hollywood still has this perception that fat = dumb, stupid and lazy. When a big friend of mine and I are out in public, I find people staring at him and I have to assume they are waiting for him to fall down (as we all know, fat is for amusement purposes only).

Now, since you are on a more serious bent with Jersey Girl and proving that you can do more than the 'dick and fart' slapstick, have you given any thought to possibly creating a story with a positive rolemodeled 'heavy' character? A movie to give another nice "fuck you" to the way people view what they dont understand.

Anyway, as was said - your movies surprisingly have made my life easier, so fuck GLAAD if they cant take the joke.
