And I don't think the "read the summaries" rule means "read the summaries and commit them to memory; read every single goddamn page, every line, shove it your fucking brain and store it there and never forget a single fucking word of it; tattoo it to your forearms if you have to, but NEVER forget the summaries!"
Instead, I tend to think it means: "If you have a question, refer to the free references already available here before posting." At a Kevin Smith forum, I would think most people would assume that the Summaries answer questions about Kevin Smith and his movies, not questions about internet shorthand.
I'm all for people doing their own research and not wasting disk space with redundant questions, but I think ME's infraction was minor and understandable.
