A man walks into a pub and challenges them all to a game of pool with a free pint bought by the loser as a prize. When no one takes him up on the offer the man says he will play the game while holding a pint in his left hand the whole game, thus meaning he cannot aim the cue. At once Sue the local pool shark takes the stranger up on the offer, the game is played but amazingly Sue loses. As Sue walks up to the bar to buy the stranger his pint she turns and says 'Double or quits I can guess your name' the man ponders this a while and finally agrees, the thought of two free pints is to tempting an offer to ignore, plus he has never been in this bar before and never seen Sue in his life. Yet she guesses his name on the first attempt. What was Sue's guess?
so far the only clues i've gotten are Peter Rabbit and Harry Potter and something to do with a link between them. I know the name of the author of Peter Rabbit is Beatrix Potter, and i've also found from other forums that the answer is in the form of a first and last name. please help!
