: : I so wish you were right about human nature.
: : I think for every good person out there, there are 200 wrong ones!
: I think there are those who have it sorted out, those who haven't and those who
don't even try. I'm surrounded by a huge bunch of people who fit group two and
three,
It's this last group I'm worried about, because it's from there that the worst kinds of
people spring. Once you've given up hope of figuring it out, you've given up the
basis for a moral system, and sooner or later it'll dawn on you that morals no longer
apply to you. Morals are all I have left.
And that's scary: humans with no morals are capable of anything. I do believe that
this is a very small part of the population, and most of the ones who have given up
are, unfortunately, suicides.
I can't agree with you there. Some of the best people I have ever known have killed
themselves, You gotta remember I"m a pure bred artist, and sure I think they got
weak when the world got ugly...the thing
I don't, won't and can't understand is why humans feel the need to get ugly when, if
they could just see the beauty and humor in things, they
well, I guess they just can't SEE!
Good grief!!!!!! what's a girl like me doing in a PLACE like this?
: Most people are a good sort, and don't wish harm on others; they just don't think
for themselves. That doesn't make me feel better somehow. I didn't sign on for this
any more than you have to answer this. BUT
I would appreciate it if you would. I'd owe you one in fact!!!
