I think that board "war" a little while back slowed down the posting by some people for fear of getting flamed for OT comments or having personal conversations that could be conducted via AIM. I know that discouraged me from posting.
But also..I think everyone else is right as well..there is very little new going on in VA world right now that most people don't already know about.
Add that to the fact that there seem to be a couple of people who like to post meaningless crap about their fictional girlfriends which may irritate people so much they don't want to check in on the board.
(Okay, so that last comment could only be one of my personal opinions).
I don't know though..I lurked for a few months before posting in Jan/Feb - so I don't know how often the board goes into lulls like this.
I for one enjoy the polls though, let's you know more about the people you "talk" to during the day.
