I know Kevin recently shed a small amount of light on the Fletch Won situation but I was wondering if you can elaborate. What studio has the ownership of the Fletch franchise and therefore the veto right of you starring in the role? Also, what comedic genius do the suits at the studio want besides you? Not Spicolli (sp?) or Ross like they wanted in Chasing Amy hopefully. Is it to the point to where your uber-fans are going to have to go Tonya Harding on the stuido execs to see you in this role or is there hope left in civilized discussion?
Any light you can shed on the situation would be great. I went and saw A Guy Thing while it was out and enjoyed watching you back on the screen but you died too damn early in Dreamcatcher! (Hope I didn't spoil that for anyone) Hope to see you in Fletch or something with some other starring vehicle soon!
