weight in general. I understand that it is invariably broken down into smaller units, but why if that's the case, why use stones at all? Why not use something a bit smaller, for more accuracy in day-to-day use? Of course, we use pounds over here, and that's not much better. Why 16 ounces to a pound? Why? I think we should move to SI units. I use them so much in physics, they are like second nature. And they make so much more sense.

What was I talking about?
