---You are right, it is public knowledge. We discussed it briefly last week when we were first informed of the trouble. But the general discussion was similar as it always is in that we wish him the best and we wish we could help but realize that we can't. We are also aware that we don't know all of the circumstances and we try to respect his privacy as much as possible. I didn't mean to attack you before, that is not what I do.
I do have one more question, why did you say that Jay would never get clean? Perhaps you have seen him try too many times and are frustrated with watching him fall back into his addiction. But still, I thought that was an unkind an unsupportive thing to say.
Any how, I'm not sure this has turned into a constructive discussion concerning Jay and his addiction and I'm sorry I had a part in that.
