: As such, I've decided to go on a little trip of nostalgia. Here's an 80's poll, for those of you who remember the 80's.

: 1. What cartoons did you watch in the 80's?
All the best ones:
GI Joe, Care Bears (shut up), Transformers, Go Bots, Shirt Tales, Rainbow Bright (shut up, it was popular), Captain Caveman, Denver The last Dinosaur (I still sing the theme to this one, sometimes),Garfield and Friends, Inspector Gadget, Mighty Mouse, Snorks, Superfriends, Pound Puppies, Dino Riders, Duck Tales (and the spinoff, Darkwing), Gummi Bears, the Littles, Winnie the Pooh, Silverhawks, Thundercats, David the Gnome, Alvin and the Chipmonks, World of Hanna-Barbera, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Jetsons, Flintstones, Muppet Babies, Spce Ghost, and smurfs. I think that's about it. (I used a website for reference, link at bottom).

: 2. What toys did you buy, that were also cartoons?
TMNT, GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Ghostbusters, Dino Riders, Pound Puppies.

: 3. Do you remember any good toys that weren't also cartoons?
Simon from Simon says, the Rubix Cube. Other than that, all the good stuff was from cartoons or movies.

: 4. Do you still have any toys from the 80's? If so, which ones?
Sadly, no. I still have a Roger Rabbit stiffed toy, but otherwise all my good 80's stuff is long gone.

: 5. Can you name more than 3 Care Bears?
Yep. Share Bear, Brave Heart Lion, Lots a Heart Elephant, Tender Heart Bear, Good Luck Bear, Proud Heart Cat, and Bedtime Bear.

Remember the Care BEar Stare? That was a great way to whoop some ass.

: 6. Who is your favorite Winnie the Pooh character?
It's Pooh, but everyone else I know likes Tigger or Eeyore.

: 7. Since you said Eeyore, do you think he's gay? I mean, he nailed that pink bow to his ass every day.
Well, my feelings are clear. I wrote the damn question.

: 8. Who was Babar?
King of Elephants.

: 9. What was your favorite pre-1990 video game?
I would have to say Y's; Vanished Omens from the Sega Master System. I spent hours upon hours playing that game, then got lost in a tower and never beat the game.

: 10. What was your favorite movie in the 1980's (at that time, not a movie you like now that was made in the 80's)?
I would have to say it was probably The Never Ending Story. I still like that movie. It's a timeless classic. That or The Princess Bride. I loved that one, too.

: 11. Do you still like the movie?
Hell yes. I want them both on DVD, but haven't found them at reasonable prices when I've had some extra cash.

: 12. Did you ever watch Mighty Mouse?
Watch it? I got the first movie on Betamax!

: 13. Can you name at least one Wuzzle?
Sure. BumbleLion (half bee, half lion). I think he was in charge of the Wuzzles in general.

: 14. One G.I. Joe?
Snake Eyes, my personal favorite.

: 15. One Shirt Tale character?
Ty the Tiger.

: 16. Do you wish this poll was over?
No that I get to the end, I realize it wasn't that great of a poll. Nice stroll down memory lane, though.

: OK, while I could go on for hours, I think I'll stop here. Man, I loved growing up in the 80's. What a great time to be young. Sorry for all of you too old or too young for this poll to apply.

Just stop already. Quit dragging this thing on. I have a life away from the board, you know. Ok, that's a lie.
