Although I didn't even consider it to be a comedy. Sure, some of it plays off of how stupid the media, paparazzi, and society in general is. I think the movie could've been a lot better if I could rewrite everything from before his ex-wife shows up at the beach house... I thought it started going downhill right there.
My favorite aspect of the story- and it went unexplored- was how Pacino's character essentially has the same attitude that he despises in his actors.
I think Pacino is light years ahead of DeNiro.
