And the checkout guy brought up Good Omens. We had a five-minute conversation on Neil Gaiman, Terry PRatchett, the discworld novels, Douglas Adams, comics, and cake (ok, not cake, but I'm hungry). There were two other cashiers, they seemed pretty annoyed because I was holding up the line, but that's why I love Bookman's so much. They must have a stringent screening process for new employees, because theya re always the nicest people, and a little off at the same time. In fact, I think I should work there.
: : What a great team. I love both the work they do seperately, and this book. It's great.
: : : If you like the Omen and liked Dogma you should read this book...At one time Terry Gilliam (Monty Python, Brazil & Six Monkeys director),was going to make into a movie...It's a good read! I recommend it.
