: This isn't something anyone else would be interested in, but if Kevin does read this, I'd like some advice. I'm sixteen and I wrote this screenplay and my friends and I are planning to make it this summer. However a couple scenes take place in a car. I'm not exactly sure how to film these. I'm using digital so there's plenty of room, but whether it should be shot from the back seat like in Clerks or individually in driver and passenger seats. I'd like some help.

I'm 15 and i am currently making a movie with my friends using digital. I also have many car scenes which i shot in the first two days. We have been shooting for a month now. I did coverage in the cars, it worked out really nice and looked professional. Use coverage, dont do what kevin did in clerks, even he regrets it.

I've been writing scripts since i was 8 and making movies since i got my first allowance at 10. So if you need any help maybe i can be of assistance. I also shot a movie with an Arriflex SR-3 once, it was a short, great experience. If you ever want to, you can rent one for a day and make a nice looking little short. It's fun stuff.
