: I need to quit my habit, any advice.

: LoL

I once had this habit of talking at great length to no one in particualr about nothing very important, rambling on and on until people told me to shut up or walked away. I'm not really sure how the habit started, but it may have been the first time I watched Elmer Fudd, and was scared that if I didn't practice talking, I would end up sounding like him. I would make up these dumb stories off the top of my head about things I've done or places I've been, going off on wild tangents like the degradation of the English language or how kids today have it so easy because they are growing up with Playstation 2's and X-Box's, and have no idea what an Atari 2600 was, or how to play Frogger. They have all-soft-plastic Tonka trucks today, but when I was growing up they were just folded steel, and if you hurt yourself you got a tetanus shot and yelled at by your parents. The grass was greener back then, too, and less pointy. Why, when I was growing up jeans cost $20 bucks a pair, and Crystal Pepsi was only a dream in an office copy-boy's head.
Oh yeah, about the problem. I never really solved my problem, I just changed form talking to typing. It isn't as fast, but I annoy less people I meet on the street.
