I've made a short film called The $ix Dollar Man, about Steve Majors, a total loser alcholic who is in an drunk driving accident and ends up being re-built as a Budget Bionic Man (they didn't have much funding). He goes on to basicly stumble his way through the picture and somehow manages to win....
It's very el cheapo (cost $6 to make :) But I'm pretty happy with it (and have won several awards here in NZ for it) and have heard that Kevin Smith is interested in making a feature film of The Six Million Dollar Man. So I thought it could be a bit of a laugh for him to check this out when he isn't too super busy.
So where do I post this to again? Anyone know?
PS Incidently I've read some of Kevin Smiths script for The Six Million Dollar Man recently and there are some crazy similarities to the film I made (when I shot it I hadn't read his script). For example both our films/scripts start with ninja attacking secuirty guards...which is soooo weird cause I didn't base mine on anything, it just popped into my head.
Maybe we just like action cliches?
