I agree that there was a time when the episodes weren't as funny as the real good Simpson's stuff, and that the writing of this season (in general) has far outwayed the last few (the worst being last season) seasons. But even the least funny Simpsons episode is far funnier than most of the Shitcoms that get churned out by overpaid TV execs.
And that's MY opinion.
