The link below will give you all the info straight from the horses mouth (since then he has started doubting that Lions Gate will actually do it though). As for cuts, they were made to get the film down to an R from an NC-17 but I'm not 100% sure what is missing, from what I have heard its from some simulated sex scenes, possibly from a suicide scene, and also numerous little cuts that the MPAA kicked up a fuss about.
As a final point, the secret commentary on the disc is a complete gem and nearly worth the cost of the DVD alone. Nearly as good as the hidden A Better Place commentary.
