I think Kevin would be the first to say he's got "no style". Looking back, and now knowing the comic history, it's kind of not surprising. Also, being primarily a writer, I think it's more the dialogue rather than fancy cut-work that is the focus. Characters and story should be more important than the super-fancy Wachovski brothers style of editing.Of course, you really don't need bullettime for Jay's impersonation of Wolvie's bezerker attack. :: snikt ::

I do think it's something that sets Kevin apart from other filmmakers. I mean, especially when Mirimax started throwing some money his way (although I doubt they're going to give anybody $700 million up front for dick and fart jokes), but it was nice to see that there weren't extraneous crane shots, or crazy blue screen/CGI sequences (Although I think we're all worse off for NOT having the goat scene in Strike Back....Personal opinion...)

I'd like to think if I ever got a script produced, it'd be nice to have Kevin direct it, just because I'm a minimalist, and don't like the quick cuts and stupid camera tricks.

But then again, I'd just like for my comic to get picked up by a publisher...
