It's slow, moody, character-driven, and in my opinion excellent.
If you want to see some great performances, go for it. But if you're into, like, ninjas and things blowing up, you should only sit through it if you're completely hopped up on jujubees, and just couldn't manage to leave the theater when "Shanghai Knights" ended.
: It's the only Best Picture Nominee I've yet to see. I've been debating over weather to go see it or not. On one hand, it's nominated for the biggest award of the year, so there must be somthing there. On the other hand, I heard/it looks like a "chick flick".
: Can anyone who has my taste in movies (in the center between liking entertainment and liking art with a slight preference for the former) tell me weather it's worth seeing?
