All I can say is wow! Very dark, very atmospheric and very very good. Affleck pulls off the whole blind thing superbly (it couldn't of been easy). Farrell is just brilliant (possibly the highlight of the movie), the rest of the cast (and what a cast it is) are perfect. Kevin's cameo is excellent, quirky without being over the top or too "obvious". Effects were good, story line was spot on and special praise for being faithful to the comics without being too anal about it, I personally think they got the balance just right, at the end of the day the two mediums are completely different and a truely faithful adaption would never work as a movie.
Judging by how well the preview screenings were packed here in the UK today I think it can do really well. I hope it does, its easily the best comic adaption I've seen in a very very long time.
