MTV has wrecked music in general. It's getting to the point where kids don't even know who Led Zeppelin are, or that Ozzy Osbourne was a rock star long before The Osbournes. Kids don't know what punk is, now that they've got bands like Good Charlotte and Avril Lavigne claiming themselves to be punks. The Clash? The Ramones? Please, they haven't even been heard of by these kids. Oh, yeah. GnR wrote Knockin on Heavens Door. Motley Crue wrote Smokin' in the Boys Room. Puff Daddy wrote that song off the Godzilla soundtrack...
