I'd go as far to say it's even harder, because everyone can imagine a scene seriously, it's a lot harder to make yourself seem naturally funny.
: Comedic acting is just as much as a strain and art as any other acting. In fact, when you're trying to be funny, sometimes you have to do five or more takes of the scene and still try to maintain humour...while everyone around you is bored silly.
: Jeff Daniels spoke of this the other night on that late show with Carson Daly. It made a lot of sense.
