I don't think I'm alone here when I say that Eminem was not that good in 8 Mile. Yeah, it's a good movie, and the rapping is fabulous, but the thing is, it wasn't that dramatic of a role. Pretty much all he did was look somber with that little pouty face. Yeah, he got beat up, no big deal. The sex scene was mediocre at best. I didn't really see any other emotion besides anger. He's not really a complex character, so what's the big deal?
