I assume you are under 18 since it is your first show...so here are some general concert tips.....
Earplugs are your friend, although some will call you a pussy, depending upon the type of show I will wear them
Make sure the show is all ages, it sucks if you buy a ticket and then can't go
Come clubs have a no hats rule
More and more concerts frisk you, I lost a beer opener and a swiss army knife at the Palladium in LA, for the KNAC Anthrax/Rollins free concert a few years ago...why they took the small beer cap opener I'll never know
Don't wear the shirt of the band you are going to see, don't be that guy!! (thanks pcu)
Crazy glue can stick "of age" drinking bands back together on your wrist, not that this knowledge is of any use.....
Also if you lick the hand stamp of a person who is 21 and they press that the the back of your hand, it might stain your hand as well, not that this is of any use....
: im going to my first rock concert tonight (yes, its about time) to see the aquabats, a ski band my friends are dragging me to. My friend went to one of their other shows and says things do get pretty heavy there, in terms of mosh pitts and crowd surfing. I know its not going to be like a Foo FIghters or Tool concert, but still. so what should i bring? i wear glasses, but i am not blind without them. I really dont need them to see closeup at all, so im planing on just leaving those off. i also dont want to bring a bulky wallet, so i guess ill just stick a 20 and a cellphone in my pants, and thats about it
