Before you say "A Christian likes Kevin Smith?!" remember that Kevin himself is a Christian and I see Dogma as a very Christian movie (it made me start thinking about my own faith, and got me back into JC)
I have read bits and pieces of his books (i.e., while I was in Best Buy I picked it up and started flipping through it). And don't get me wrong, I think a lot of his stuff is funny but no more funny than about 80% of other comedians out there.
And I think it has a lot to do with all of his anti-Christ jazz.
