I was asking a general question to Kevin. Your name ain't Kevin Smith is it? No amount of wishing will make it that so keep your piece in your pants and your thunmb out of your ass. Wasn't asking Kevin to do my job. IN fact, as my job goes, I make Mr. Smith and the studios that support him some fat-ass cash by selling his work. Wasn't asking for anything more than a gentle nudge in the right direction.

: then stop asking for Kevin to do your job.
: Welcome :)

: Long-time fan, first-time poster. This post is more to Kevin than anyone else. Just lookin' for general info on the process of getting a film sold/done. A buddy and I have come up with a general idea and basic script for a film we want to get done. I work for a Canadian video distributor so I generally trust the opinions of the people with whom I have shared this one particular idea with i.e. studio video reps and such. Unfortunately, when it comes to production and contacts, they are pretty much useless. We haven't stopped at writing just one movie. In fact, we have about 4 or 5 ideas on the go right now, and the genres we cover are all over the board. I'm aware of Project Green Light, but I was kind of looking for something a little less random. If you can help me out a little by pointing me in the right direction Kevin it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I'm sure I'll make somehow, it just might take a little longer. Even if you can't do anything but are kind of interested in some of our ideas, let me know. Thanx for your time.
