Long Island does have the VILLIAGE voice but you have to seek it out and pay for it, unlike in the city where its free. It does have a sister paper called the Long Island voice which is no more. Read about it here http://www.aan.org/gbase/Aan/viewArticle?oid=oid%3A1014
