One of the biggest problems with Affleck, aside from his acting, is his size. Affleck is tall for an actor, and as a result, the size difference between he and Michael Clark Duncan isn't as pronounced as the size difference between the Kingpin and Daredevil should be. Had they cast an actor of a standard actor's height, say 5'10" or smaller, it would make the visual difference between he and MCD more pronounced, and would make the Kingpin look more impressive.
