The best way a newbie could get welcomed here is if he/she posted something intelligent. That post should be about a View Askew film/person, but other subjects are acceptable.
Either they say something that is easily answerable in the Summaries, or they say something basic like "Hi" (or something like you just did).
To "fit in", just lurk here & there and don't try too hard.
