uses 'jibber jabber' in their everyday vocabulary. Which is probably why I never learned any life lessons from the A-Team.

: Kevin Smith disappoints me so much. I can think of no other director who makes movies that seem to have so much promise, but end up falling way short in too many areas to be any good.

: He thinks up some reasonably clever things for people to say, but then he takes that formula and he overdoes it to the hundreth degree, so that his characters all spout the same-sounding non-stop flood of jibber jabber -- and they do so in a way that makes me think that Kevin Smith is just incredibly proud of what they're saying because he thinks it's so damned deep.

: The other reason this movie is going to have problems is Jason Lee. This guy is the worst young actor in Hollywood. He makes Keanau Reeves look like Kevin Spacey, by comparison. All of his lines are delivered in that same self-knowing monotone, and I'm never at all buying that the guy is really the character he's trying to portray. I'm never at all buying that his character is the one who's actually thinking of the stream of words flowing from his mouth. It's obvious that he's just memorized some lines from a script and is regurgitating them with no emotion or comic timing whatsoever. Why is Kevin Smith so in love with this guy?

: The first Fletch was quite good, and I really liked the Fletch character. The second movie was weak, but it had some memorable moments here and there. This next one is going to be a big stinker, though. However, I don't doubt that hordes of rabid Kevin Smith fans will proclaim it to be a masterpiece, like they did with Dogma. Oooh, that one was so bad. Between the bad acting from Linda Fiorentino, Ben Affleck, and Jason Lee; I was sure that my DVD player was going to explode. Ooh, what deep thoughts about religion... God is a woman! An apostle was black! I haven't seen new ideas like those appear over and over.

: wantedtobeadancerinvegas-I AM NOT A VIOLENT MAN!!! But I want something horrible to happen to this man. Those comments about Jason Lee....I need to calm down.
