after kevin and jason had a huge fight over the "no more jay and silent bob"fact. they are no longer on speaking terms. kevin told his good friend, janet jackson about this problem. she called up her good friend vin disel. kevin offered him the role, and vin gladly took it.
this film actualy is going to take place 300 years in the future. this way, it covers kevins sci fi movie & and his fletch movie. vin stars as fletch,obviously(hes a dead ringer for the original chevy chase) who is hunting down a cross dressing robot on the moon. thats about it. kevin did mention though that there will be lots of jokes coming from actors just saying "uranus" a lot.
no one is sure yet who will play the big villian SirRobot, but Aint it cool.com has rumors that it will be played by either Sir Ian mckellan or possibly mick jagger (now that hes an actor and everything)
kevin and lynch are writing it
should be out by fall 2004. its currently in pre development
