I'm in England too and I have a reg 2 player. But all the Kevin Smith R1's I have play on my reg 2 player for some unknown reason...it's bizzare. You should try that. So don't bother getting Clerks on Video. Look on ebay.co.uk, some folks sell R1's at a decent price in the uk so there are less shipping charges.
