Most likely, Isis in on a dial-up connection. Or a service, Cable or DSL, where IP addressing for a host will change. There are still some legacy systems (Dedicated X-Stations) which support BOOTP, but these are basically mothballed. I.E. old.
Give me a couple more hours and I can...
1) Nail down location.
2) Tell you what Isis has eaten in the last 24 hours. :-)
3) Isis's favorite color? Maybe.
