I'm David C*J Bunn, you might remember me from One Shot Press, Chasing Amy. I have been on the Board of Directors of MassCann/Norml the last few years, and have just been picked as the Freedom Fighter for Jan 2003 by High Times (pg36)
The reason I am writing is because we do this rally in Sept, (see pg 16, Jan HT, 2003) and this year it's planned for Sept 20, 2003. The Board of Directors are looking for speakers and we would like to invite you and Jay to come on down and be a part of this years Rally as featured speakers.(What a spot for Bluntman & Chronic) The theme of the rally this year is "The University of Marijuana" and our tag line is "Get Your Degree in THC" and our primary goal is education on the HEMP/Marijuana issue.
I am hoping you will have the time to join us and "run a class" for us to help educate the masses. We draw on a good year 100,000+ and a bad year around 35-45,000. We are bouncing back from 9-11 because our rally that year was 9-14. After much debate we did hold that rally because we did not want to let a terrorist act interrupt our American way of life, and paid tribute to all the brave Firemen and Police that dealt with Ground Zero.
