The flaw in this is that just because his brother is gay, doesn't mean he loves his brother. I unfortunatly know some families that have abandoned their sons/daughters over them being gay. Unless the public knows that Kevin LOVES his brother, the sentance "my brother's gay, I clearly don't hate gay people" just doesn't work quite as well.
: Kevin doesn't dislike gays at all. In fact he was "fascinated" by them, if I can recall the correct wording. I feel bad for his brother who was outed on "An Evening" although I'm sure it wasn't much of a secret. It seems all Kev had to say was "my brother's gay, I clearly don't hate gay people." But I guess he didn't want to single him out like that
