The far left is on one side and the far right is on the other, and the people in the middle who actually make sense can never have an opinion because either the far left or the far right will accuse them of being the opposite of what they are.

Peace is great, love the idea of it, but it's only an idea.

War is what our world has always been about. Just because we defend ourselves from people who want to hurt us doesn't make us war mongerers. It just makes us health concious.

The funny thing is, that if we go to war and win, the Left can say that it wouldn't have mattered either way and that war was essentially posturing, but if we don't go to war and something goes wrong the right will turn and say I told you so to the Left... well, that is just before both the left and the right are killed.

I would rather put up with self important people who think that peace is actually a viable option when dealing with a man that uses his own people as human shields than go to war... but I don't think that's going to happen.

With the knowledge that war is probably inevitable, either now or in the future when our enemies have even more military capability, I would rather put a stop to the threat now.

It will help us and plenty of others around the world.

Then again, if any of the super left liberal posturing actually leads to peace... congratulations to you... and if any of the right wing all or nothing destruction actually leads to a safer world... well great.

Personally I'd settle for common sense.
