There's widescreen TVs that are basically rectangular shape (movie screen shape) instead of the usual box screens most of us have.
What Jewelz is asking is that he/she has a widescreen TV but is still seeing the black bars & doesn't think he/she should.
I don't know enough about those to answer the original question though. Shucks.
