you made me happy. I wanted to make those points, but don't have the resources at my disposal right now.

: : Holden should have caught on that Alyssa was full of shit concerning her fucking-history. When they're sitting on the swings she said she was gay because it was just the way she always felt (..."Women feel right." ect.). Then later on when they're lying there in the blue light ("Why me?") she says the reason she became a lesbian in the first place to "not limit the likleyhood of finding that one person who complemented her so completly." That just ruined the whole movie for me.

: You're twisting the words that are said:
: HOLDEN: Girls feel right.
: ALYSSA: And that’s how I feel. ['always felt' would be a lie.]
: another important line from that scene is:
: "I like you. I haven’t liked a man in a long time. And I’m not a man-hater or something. It’s just been some time since I’ve been exposed to a man that didn’t immediately live-into a stereotype of some sort."

: And I'm not going to re-type her whole speech (even cut and pasting would be a bitch 'cause of re-formatting), but, what she says is, not that she became a lesbian, but she opened herself up to exploring love with women. Big difference. The whole movie is about the absurdity of labels where love applies.

: So did I salvage the movie for you or what?
