: what did it feel like getting it done, and arnt you the least bit neverous about what its going to look like when your old and wrinkly? unless you plan to die young, than thats ok. do you have to be 18 to get a tattoo? i dont think i will get one, unless something means so much to me and i want to remember it forever. and i would probably put it in a place where few would see it. like my foot or something

The general rule is: the fleshier the area being tattooed, the less it hurts. Mine's on my outer hip/upper leg, so it didn't hurt much at all. But I have friends who say that getting tattooed on your ankle or some place like that hurts like hell.

I've had mine for ten years and it's definitely faded, but I really don't mind. It's a part of me now and it's gonna age just as I do.

I'm not completely sure, but I think you have be 18 or at least have parental consent. Really though, I would encourage teenagers to wait a bit on getting tattoos in frequently exposed places. When I was 20, I couldn't imagine ever being 30, so "permanent" didn't mean much to me when I got mine. I don't regret it, but sheesh ... permanent really meant forever.

Hope that answers your questions. :)
