Rotten Tomatoes is a website that reads a LOT of reviews, and puts them in to categories: good or bad. Then it gives each movie a TomatoMeter rating, a 70% rating means 70% were good.

It got 100% cream of the crop (most popular reviewers) and 98% in general!
Now, a bad review from a film critic usually doesn't mean anything, so any movie that scores 50% or higher prob isn't a horrible flick, but to get ratings as high as The Two Towers is very rare.
