Hey Kevin, first i'd like to say i'm currently watching your new DVD(rented it for free cause i'm good friends with the video store people by my work, and i'm flat broke, so i worked for them putting videos away just so i could watch this awesomely funny dvd). Also, i'd like to say that your movies in my opinion are some of the funniest movies to ever hit the screen. Clerks and Mall Rats being my favs.
My question is, other than sucking dick, and trying to get credit cards,(since i have a straight up 0 credit, finding cards is a problem as i've been turned down for 8 cards the past 3 weeks...I just turned 18 last month.)Whats a good way to get some funding for a movie I want to film/star in. Like should I solicit movie companies(while trying to avoid the whole sucking dick thing), should i rob a bank, i'm fucked on ideas and fucked on cash.(I'm lucky to bring home 160$ a week, and 100 of that goes straight to my ma for rent, 20 goes straight to smokes.)
Also i realize you guys aren't accepting scripts or anything to the such, but i'm wondering if i threw my outline up on the web somewhere, if you(and anyone else that reads this post) could give me your opinion on it, and maybe a few pointers.
