You can get one that supports cd-r/cd-rw/mp3/vcd/svcd... You can fit so many mp3s on a disc. Also you can burn those mpg/mpeg files to vcd and watch those too. I just bought a Philips for less than $100 at K-mart. It was definitely worth the extra $40 or so.
